報告題目Balancing Benefits and Risks of  Embedding System Knowledge in Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control

報告摘要:

There are multiple ways to incorporate model information into active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) to facilitate a more reliable and efficient design. However, if thisknowledge is misused, it can undermine the benefits of informed ADRC synthesis. In this talk, l will provide desian recommendations to guide ADRC users in selecting the control structure based on model availability, observer speed, and system characteristics. These quidelines stem from a comparative analysis of three linear ADRC variants, each utilizing a priori plant knowledge differently: the classical form, which relies only on basic plant information; the generalized version,which allows broader model incoration; and a third, novel approach, which modifies the generalized framework. Throughout the talk, l will focus on benchmark second-order systems, which strike a good balance between qenerality and tractability in control design. The presented theoretical insights will be supported by simulations and validated experimentally.

報告人簡介:

Rafal Madonski (Senior Member, lEEE) received his Ph.D. degree (Hons.) from the Poznan University of Technology, Poland (2016). He was a Postdoc Research Scholar at the School of Automation, Southeast University, China, from 2017 to2019. Until 2023, he was an Associate Professor in the Energy and Electricity Research Center, Jinan University, China. He is currently affiliated with the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland. His research interests revolve around active disturbance rejection control (ADRC).
